Welcome to Urbandrift. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and our courier and logistics services. By booking a service with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Company" refers to Urbandrift.
  • "Customer" refers to the person or entity booking the service.
  • "Consignment" means the goods accepted by the Company for carriage.
  • "Service" means the courier, delivery, or logistics operations performed by the Company.

2. Parties' Obligations

2.1 Customer Obligations

The Customer warrants that:

  • The Consignment is properly packed, labelled, and addressed.
  • The Consignment does not contain any Prohibited Items (as defined in Section 5).
  • All details provided for pickup and delivery are accurate and complete.

2.2 Company Obligations

The Company shall reasonably endeavor to deliver the Consignment to the delivery address within the agreed timeframe. However, time shall not be of the essence unless expressly agreed in writing.

3. Charges and Payment

Charges for the Service are based on the details provided by the Customer. The Company reserves the right to amend charges if the actual weight, dimensions, or distance differ from the booking details. Payment terms must be adhered to as agreed upon booking.

4. Limitation of Liability

Important Notice:

Unless otherwise agreed in writing and subject to payment of additional fees for enhanced cover, the Company's liability for loss or damage to a Consignment is limited. Use of our services implies acceptance of these limitations.

  • The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profit, business, or market).
  • The Company is not a common carrier and reserves the right to refuse any Consignment at its discretion.
  • Liability is strictly limited to the direct loss or damage of the goods and shall not exceed the standard industry liability limits per kilogram unless specific insurance covers are purchased.

5. Prohibited Items

The Customer must not send any of the following items without prior written consent:

  • Hazardous or dangerous goods (flammable, explosive, toxic, etc.).
  • Illegal contraband or stolen goods.
  • Live animals or human remains.
  • High-value items such as bullion, cash, or loose precious stones.

6. Transit and Claims

Transit commences when the Company takes possession of the Consignment. Transit ends when the Consignment is tendered at the delivery address. Any claim for loss or damage must be notified to the Company in writing within 7 days of the delivery date (or scheduled delivery date).

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
